Welcome To Historic Clarendon School District One

From the Superintendent

My vision for Clarendon One and the community is that we provide a world-class school system that provides students the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential.  I strongly believe that world-class schools are built on a foundation of high expectations for all students, conducted in a safe, orderly and nurturing environment.  Every employee giving one hundred percent to the task at hand should support this endeavor.

I am asking you to join me in creating a school system in which all children not only become successful learners, but also embrace learning as a joyful, lifelong activity.  I am asking you to be a part of creating a school system and a community committed to learning.

As we focus on meeting the mandates for No Child Left Behind (NCLB), lets remember that how we educate our children is a measure of our integrity and vitality as a community.

Dr. Rose H. Wilder
